New Media Networks and PATHS2

New Media Networks (NMN) is an international company comprising media and communications practitioners across the world. NMN develops achievable, bespoke communication strategies and delivers mass media campaigns by creating and producing content for broadcast and interactive platforms. We are committed to building sustainable capacity at all levels through high impact work of lasting social and educational benefit.

Our current work includes:

  • Curriculum development and teaching for the Masters degree course in Media and International Development for the University of East Anglia's School of Development Studies
  • Creation of 'Banglaprize', a cross-continent initiative with the UK's National Skills Academy for Financial Services to work with young people from disadvantaged communities in London and Bangladesh to utilise communication to develop their entrepreneurial skills
  • Development and delivery of a communication strategy for Water with the Communications for Social Change Consortium in the Democratic Republic of Congo, training media partners from across the country including the United Nations' broadcaster, Radio Okapi
  • Working in partnership with the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association to develop broadcast initiatives around Sport and Development, Governance and facilitate learning and exchanges between Mass Communications faculties between Universities

PATHS2 Role

New Media Networks has designed the communications and media strategy for Output 5 in partnership with YozuMannion. YozuMannion/New Media Networks will lead on the delivery of communications and media components of Output 5 working closely with international and national public health and media groups to develop innovative solutions to informing people about health issues and generating constructive debate and dialogue.
